Brown Sugar Meatloaf by Julie

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp ginger
3/4 cup saltine cracker crumbs, crushed

1) Preheat to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan.
2) Press brown sugar in bottom of loaf pan & spread ketchup over the sugar.
3) Thoroughly mix all remaining ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place on top of ketchup.
4) Bake 1 hour or until juices are clear.

Since it's frozen, just thaw completely & cook at 350 for 1 hour.

  1. This was yummy! Mine wasn't ready after an hour. It was in the oven at 350 for an hour and a half, and I ended up microwaving it for 5 minutes...just a heads up for all ya all when you make it! It is very possible it wasn't completely thawed like I thought it was... Well worth the wait:)
